    RESPONSIBILITIES: The E-Learning Librarian will lead the formulation, production, and advancement of e-learning initiatives that support the Washington University in Saint Louis library patrons. As a member of the Instructional Support Services Department, the E-Learning Librarian will work with colleagues, faculty, and students to develop, implement, and apply innovative multi-media and LMS based e-learning tools, resources, and services for integration with library related instructional needs. These activities include: working with library subject specialists and faculty in the preparation of interactive tutorials and course modules, the development of multimedia projects, and integration of learning modules across freely available and university based LMS systems.
    QUALIFICATIONS: Required: Masters degree in instructional design, library/information science, media, instructional technology, or a related field; demonstrated ability to thrive and lead in a collaborative environment; demonstrated ability with graphic design and/or video editing software, citation management and presentation software and relevant emerging technologies; excellent interpersonal, communication , presentation and instructional skills. Preferred: Relevant experience in libraries, higher education, or learning management systems; ability to see technological possibilities in and outside of the library world and the vision to turn these possibilities into new library services.
